Clary Sage
Astringent, Cleansing
Clary sage is a plant native to the northern Mediterranean, widely used for medicinal purposes. The high ester content of its essential oil, in particular linalyl acetate, is thought to provide soothing and cleansing benefits when applied to the skin. It is also a natural astringent, reducing pores for a clearer complexion. It benefits both dry and oily skin and is often used in facial cleansers and hair products, where its antioxidant content gives an additional range of benefits.
Balm Supérieure is certified organic according to Ecocert’s Organic Cosmetic Standard.
